I don't have a copy of Microsoft Office. I haven't needed to use it until recently, so I was going to either blag a copy from work, or purchase one of those Student/Home editions. Then I remember reading in the dim and distant past about "Star Office" from Sun. It's now called OpenOffice.
I downloaded it on Friday night, and I was up and running, using it straight away. Does everything I need, and I can exchange info with folk who are using Microsoft Office.
And best of all it's free!
