I had to rescue Odin today, as he'd got stuck head first in the darkest recess of a mangrove swamp root decorative feature (if you can call a mangrove swamp root decorative that is?)
Tried to shake him out - no joy. Then I gently grabbed him by the base of his tail and carefully pulled - out he plopped looking shaken and stirred, but otherwise OK.
Perhaps he was just trying to live up to his own mythos, and had reached the point where he is hanged from the world tree?
Spent 45 quid on new pump/filter unit, new air pump, electrical connection box and spare filters. If only they also had a gadget that automatically cleans and changes the water too, so I wouldn't forget, or put it off until it's too late......
