Scrapping over on-call allowance, overtime and expenses claims at work yesterday and today.
Won the expenses battle, since I'd bothered to keep a copy of the rules of war.
Lost the on-call standby allowance/overtime battle - can't claim the former if I'm doing the latter, even though the latter is non-callout work.
Cest' la vie - not entirely shafted by the Assassination Bureau Bean Counters (who are now hastily revising the rules), since I've still earned a pretty extra penny this month, but a slight reduction in the expected extra dosh all the same.
