There's gale force winds all over the country today.
The Mersey is looking pretty rough. Sheets of water are being blown right across the top of the Albert Dock. The ferry has given up trying to cross and is being buffeted about on it's moorings.

The fact that I had Chilli for my tea last night & Beans on toast for breakfast has nothing to do with this. No siree, not at all.
Well the wind is ripping bits off the building I'm working in. The bike shed went at around 11am. The awning on the side has come off in pieces over the last two hours and I just watched an industrial size bin going end over end down the long road along one side of the site.
Amazingly my recently acquired compost bin, which is weighted down by a single brick, is still in place. I was expecting to come home to a back yard covered in wind-distributed rotting vegetable matter....
... which reminds me of cha0tics reply ;-) This one's too big, even for one of your guffs.

Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.
