The Smurfs Movie

Day off work today, so for an end of the holidays treat I took the boys to see The Smurfs Movie. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the film, and I enjoyed it more than I expected to. Lots of self-deprecating jokes about how irritating the Smurfs are. Exploring the Smurf language and history. Nods to other films, such as Lord of the Rings and Braveheart. Plus the Smurfs doing Aerosmith/Run DMC 'Walk This Way' and a Smurf army marching to battle to the tune of AC/DC's 'Back in Black'. Smurftastic!
