Thunder Storms
On the 14:00 to 22:00 late shift this week. Got to watch 2 stonking flash flood thunderstorms roll up the Mersey last night from upstream. One around 17:00 and one around 20:00. It was like watching the approach of an invisible monster - you could see a dark shadow approaching, and trees bending in it's path. Then the Liver Buildings were swallowed up, and finally the whole thing rolled over our building with a gargantuan crash, and flashes of lighting. Calm and sunshine straight afterwards, and a sparkling rainbow.

Your view is a lot better than ours. Could just about see the deep grey cloud come in over Liverpool 1. Good view of it washing the streets clean of everything and everyone.
